Installation:
Layout the electrical power wire enclosed so that the Push Button is on one end (conveniently located to reach while riding)and the other end terminated where the pump will be mounted. The pump is supplied prewired with a sealed/removable connection as seen in the photo. Run wiring so that it lays over the battery leaving enough slack so it can later be cut and connected to the battery terminals.(Soldered connections are preferred to crimps connectors)
Four (4) connections have to be made; two (2) at the push-button and two (2) at the battery connections where the red wire is cut and to connect to the positive /negative terminals on the battery. The enclosed fuse should be installed between the positive terminal and red wire.
Lubricant Reservoir Location:

The small 4oz. lubricant reservoir and pump can be mounted any place on the bike where you can find room. The license plate mount shown right is one option (A little creative thinking will find many more places to mount it, even on R1 or R6). The 4 oz. reservoir is good for 1,000 plus miles and smaller 2oz reservoir should be good for 500 miles.

Pump Location:

As you can see by the photos, the pump mounting is simple. The pump is supported by the tubing and can be set in any position. In my case, I placed it under the seat and in front of my CB radio pack. It can just as easily be tied to the frame using nylon ties. It's distance from the reservoir is not critical, since it is self priming and gives a positive pressure feed.

Running Tubing:

Three different diameter pieces of tubing are included. Use a short piece of the largest tubing to connect to the pump. The next size tubing is used to run around the frame and the smallest tubing is used for the final feed onto the chain.

The tubing O.D. and I.D. sizes have been selected so fittings and clamps are not required. The easiest way to connect the different size tubing supplied together is to put a small amount of glue, like GOOP or Silicone, onto the outside end of smallest size and push it an inch or so into the next size tubing. This will keep any excess glue from plugging the line and make a leak tight solid connection in about an hour.

The small semi-rigid black tubing supplied is used to feed onto the chain. It can be run under the swing arm and attached with nylon ties. The black nylon tubing can be bent and set into a shape applying a small amount of heat, bending into shape, and then allowing the bend to cool. Bend the black nylon tubing to desired shape so that it drips oil onto the chain links. To hold it in place, once it is set in the right position, I recommend using a small amount of GOOP in the area of the nylon tie to keep the tubing from rotating.

The exact location where the black tubing drips onto the chain is not highly critical. Locate the discharge above the chain and within 3/4 inch of the link so the oil drips on the link. A good place to locate and attach the tubing feed point is on the chain guard. It helps to locate the oil feed point so it can be easily seen when pushing the dash button.
When activating the pump for the first time put the bike on it ’s center stand. You will see that as you rotate the tire by hand, the chain lubricant disperses quickly onto the sprockets and into all areas of the chain links. The chain and sprocket mating cause a pumping action dispersing the lubricant as they rotate.
